The Power of Prayer

The power of prayer is well documented and having a special time and place set aside for it has many benefits. It strengthens your heart-tie to God, the masters, and the angels and provides you with an opportunity to sit in sacred space and commune with your Higher Self.

All prayers provide healing. Prayers that are designed specifically for healing are extremely powerful. They create a matrix. These may include songs, positive affirmations, mantras and decrees. For example, Jesus and Mother Mary have a healing service that is traditionally given on Wednesday evening called Watch With Me Jesus Vigil of the Hour. This is the day the green ray is felt more strongly. Each ray has a day during the week when the ray is stronger and giving decrees and songs for that day is highly recommended.

Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy, has a particularly lovely healing ritual called Kuan Yin's Crystal Rosary: Devotions to the Divine Mother East and West. These are ancient Chinese mantras combined with songs and decrees to the representatives of the Divine Mother, East (Kuan Yin) and West (Mother Mary). This rosary braids the violet-purple ray with the emerald ray and helps you to strengthen your heart connection to the heart of the Divine Mother. As you give the rosary you can almost feel Kuan Yin guiding you on how to use the flame of mercy, compassion and forgiveness. If you are having trouble forgiving someone both of these Mother figures will help you to heal the wound in your heart. This is part of the great mystery of God and the beauty of working with the Ascended Masters. In our next section we will learn a quick centering technique and give a short prayer that demonstrates how to braid these sacred rays.
