Ages

A new age is an inspiring and mystical time. As the Piscean Age transitions into the Age of Aquarius everyone is feeling the effects. The earth has gone through several ages. Each one lasts approximately 2,150 years and comes under one of the seven rays. These rays emerge from spiritual white light (the highest concentration of light) and contain special qualities that are unique to each one. Although all of the rays continuously flow to the earth, the ray associated with a new age is felt more profoundly. This is because the Ascended Master in charge of the ray is focusing the energy of the Christ consciousness to raise the consciousness of the entire planet.

The sponsor of the Aquarian Age is the Ascended Master Saint Germain. The light-energy being released for Aquarius is the Seventh Ray. This is the violet ray of freedom. The transforming energy of the violet ray, also called the violet flame, is very powerful. Besides freedom it also produces the action of mercy, forgiveness, justice and transformation.

In the Age of Aquarius great opportunities are before us as the path of the masters is once again made available to those seeking self-knowledge and gnosis. Aquarius is a state of consciousness. The freedom that comes with the violet flame has the power to liberate but only if it is tempered with responsibility and not seen as a license for wild abandonment. If it is misused the vibration of the planet will go down. But, if more and more people assimilate, absorb, and qualify the light-energy correctly and raise their consciousness to the level of the Christ, then the vibration of the entire planet will rise and we will have a golden age.
